The group was formed as a side project to the always busy Trapped Under Ice in 2010, another Baltimore band. Brendan Yates, the drummer of TUI, moved to vocals and recruited his childhood friends Brady Ebert on guitar, Daniel Fang on drums, Sean Cullen on second guitar, and TUI roadie Franz Lyons on bass.
